BactoSip-ANB – Anaerobic bioculture for anaerobic bioreactors consisting of consortium of beneficial microbial cultures with ability to switch between various modes of metabolism enabling effective performance in variety of wastewater & to degrade broad spectrum of organic & inorganic pollutants to reduce VFAs, ammonia, H2S, COD & BOD.

Volatile fatty acids (VFA) like acetic acid, butyric acid and propionic acid are some of the main products of anaerobic fermentation The VFAs are converted to acetate through
acetogenesis process which is preferable substrate for methanogenic bacteria. Any shock load or disturbance in digester leads to increase in VFA concentration that increases the VFA/alkalinity ratio causing lowering of pH that impairs methanogenesis leading to ineffective biodigester performance.

BactoSip-ANB has microbes that are able to consume the VFAs, ammonia and H2S, leading to improvement in anaerobic digestion process and stabilization of the biodigester.

  • BactoSip-SMC - Specialized Microbial consortium bio culture for recalcitrant ETP wastewater issues. BactoSip-SMC contains highly efficient and performance oriented microbial cultures which are able to address variety of wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) issue like sludge settling & floating, filamentous bulking, excessive foaming, thick slimy stagnant foam formation, FOG degradation, High TDS, color, odor due to H2S & Ammonia.
  • Certain conditions like shock load, toxicity, weather fluctuation, presence of organic compounds, surfactants, Fat oil grease (FOG), phenolic compounds etc can change effluent characteristics which results in undue stress on wastewater treatment units in the form of excessive foaming, sludge settling & floating issues, sludge bulking due to filamentous bacteria, odor issues due to excessive ammonia & hydrogen sulphide generation.
