Silica-109 liquid biofertilizer has been formulated by fermentation technology containing cell count of 109 cfu/ml Silicate Solubilizing Bacteria (SSB). Silicon is not considered as primary nutrient in plants, but plants do accumulate silica and deposit on the walls of epidermis and vascular tissues rendering rigidity & strength to stems and leaves thereby making plants more resistant to pest and disease attack.

Over 90% of the Earth's crust is composed of silicate minerals, making silicon the second most abundant element in the Earth's crust after oxygen, but silicate minerals are unavailable to plants and they have to be depolymerized to ortho silicic acid for plant absorption.

Silicate Solubilizing Bacteria in Silica-109 are able to solubilize various soil silicates to ortho silicic acid and is taken up by plants along with water thereby playing a major role in increasing crop yield & improving plant health.

Chitosan Oligosaccharide liquid has an optimized size, uniformity & improved interaction with the plant.

Chitosan is known to elicit specific chemical responses in plant to enhance its intrinsic defense mechanism. This natural defensive capacity can enhance anti-fungal, anti-viral and anti-bacterial measures that the plant can use to ward off various diseases.

The application of Chitosan Oligosaccharide as foliar spray or drench can help to control various plant diseases. Chitosan oligosaccharide has high adherence properties and remains for an extended period on the plant thereby providing nutrient for plant growth & acting as natural barrier against several insect pests.

It helps to increase yield, preventing disease, activating several enzyme system, stimulates action on all beneficial microorganisms and enhances plant strength.

Details:

• Seed application: Mix 1 kg seeds in 2-5 ml NPKZSSi-109  in water to get even coating of cells on seeds, dry in shade before sowing
• Gardening: Mix 1 cap (15 ml) of NPKZSSi-109 in 1 bucket (10-15L) water and use it to water the plants normally
• Seedling treatment: Mix 100 ml of NPKZSSi-109 in 10-20 Litre of water in a container and dip the seedlings for 30 min, dry in shade before transplanting
• Farm Yard Manure (FYM): Mix 100 ml NPKZSSi-109 in 100-200kg compost/FYM with water and spread it in 1 acre
• Drip application: Mix 100 ml NPKZSSi-109 in water and use it in 1 acre
• Spray application: Mix 100 ml NPKZSSi-109 in 200 Litre water and use it to spray near the soil surface of plants.
